The HotPot Publika is a Cantonese style hotpot (steamboat) restaurant mixed with Japanese sake bar. We went for the Double Soup Base (RM 38) - The premium cantonese pork bone soup and spicy SzeChuan style ma lat soup which can be share among 4-6pax. All the soup are freshly make daily and free from MSG & preservatives.
Once you have placed your orders while waiting for the soup to boil, you can make your own dipping sauce from the numerous pots to go with your hotpot. You can mixed and matched according to your preference.
For those who love seafood, there’s a wide variety of fresh seafood such as Tiger Prawns, Fresh Fish Fillet, Abalone, Drunken Prawns, Scallops, squids, Boston Lobster, Mud crab and many more. ....are priced from RM 15.00 onwards.
A hot pot experience would not be completed without the premium sliced meat. There are 3 type of meat slice which included Sanbanto Pork Shoulder Loin (RM18) Sanbanto Pork Belly (RM 20) and Imported Marble Beef (RM45).
I have to say the Homemade Fresh Prawn Paste (RM20) were pretty impressive. It had a very nice and firm texture with the right flavors.
For the very first time we are having hotpot paired with SAKE. It went surprisingly well with the pork soup.
The HotPot Publika also have 2 private room. Each room can handle a capacity of approxI 6 pax/ each. These rooms can be combined to create a larger space for up to 14 pax. I am definitely planning to repeat visit in future with all my friend/ family perhaps in their private room ; )
