The Sinful Grillers @ Atlas Gourmet Market
Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the hectic lifestyle of KL City dwellers is a true hidden gem, The Sinful Grillers.
Located within Atlas Gourmet Market below Four Seasons Hotel, KL, The Sinful Grillers being importers and the sole distributor for DeRaza Iberico in Malaysia specializes in cooking up undoubtedly Malaysia’s best hot iberico meal and cold-cut iberico platters.
During our visit, we were treated to their signature Charcuterie Board which is carefully put together with iberico cold cuts, truffle cheese and brie along with dried cranberries.
Not only was the combination aesthetically pleasing, the flavours complemented one another so perfectly and the quality was superb. If you’ve been looking for the perfect pairing for your favourite glass of red wine, look no further!
The iberico cold cuts had the perfect balance of fats and meat. We were immediately reminded of why iberico is to pork what wagyu is to beef.
Next up, we had the privillege to sink our teeth into their pork satay sticks. These succulent and juicy pork satay falls right off its skewer and it is so well marinated, it made the peanut sauce feel so ‘extra’. These pork satay are perhaps our new favourites and may have just dethroned the long standing king of satay reigning from Kajang. But we’ll leave that for you to be the judge.
Also on the menu that night was the Meat Massacre which consist of 5 types of sausages weighing a total of 1kg. This sausage platter is great for meat lovers whom prefers pairing wine or beer with something heavier.
While each sausages varied in texture and flavour, the art of preparing these sausages is consistent as they all retain their juiciness and flavours.
Lastly, we had the opportunity to of course try their iberico hot meals: iberico collar and iberico abanico plate. The meat was well seasoned and in no way overpowering natural flavours. With their level of cullinary expertise, there is no need for us to elaborate on the texture and how the meat was evenly cooked.
All in all, this is definitely a place we look forward to revisit over and over again. It is an ideal place to unwind and disconnect from from the hectic KL lifestyle. The are is spacious and cozy with ample sitting space for small and big groups.
Ohhh! Almost forgot to mention. Here you’ll also find Malaysia’s first ever cheese room. In here, you’ll have access to some of the best cheese from around the world. If you find something you fancy, you may reach out to the chef for a slice or more!
