Lemon Garden “Eat-All-You-Can" @ Shangri-La Hotel KL


We’ve got great news! Lemon Garden’s signature seafood eat-all-you-can with live cooking stations is back! Priced at only RM158 nett per person, you’ll unlock access to over 60 different a la carte dishes which will be prepared upon order to ensure freshness.

The highlight of the buffet is undoubtedly the fresh selections of Seafood and Sashimi. Ranging from freshly shucked US oyster, chilled lobster and mud crab to shrimp cocktail, Norwegian salmon sashimi, Ahi tuna sashimi and more, this buffet spread is nothing short of paradise for any seafood lovers!

During our visit, we went all out on the freshly shucked oysters and mud crabs. Topped with a dash of lemon and tabasco sauce, the US oysters were simply heavenly. Similarly, the mud crabs were extremely juicy and had good chunks of meat. We also indulged in a serving of Norwegian salmon and Ahi tuna. The sashimi slices were generous and of course like all other seafood served, the freshness of these sashimi was also excellent.

Aside from the seafood, we also enjoyed some scrumptious local delicacies like char koay teow, satay, laksa and briyani kambing. The flavours of these dishes were on point and it was definitely a great way to stuff our faces with all these local delights we’ve been missing throughout the movement restriction order period (MCO) without the need of travelling to different places.

As for those who prefers western cuisine or enjoys the sweeter things in life, there’s really something for everyone here. The lamb chop was tender and juicy while the thin crust pizza topped with smoked duck was flavourful and cheesy. As much as we would like to indulge in more of the food available here and share our experience with you, there’s only so much our tummies could handle. The question really matters is, what would YOU fill your tummy with during your visit? For us, the oysters and mud crab was the highlight.

Also, a quick shoutout to all durian lovers, Lemon Garden is also hosting a durian feast where you’ll be able to eat your favourite Musang King till your hearts content for only RM128 nett per person. You may opt for both the seafood buffet and durian feast or either one. Do note that the durian feast is hosted outdoors, separate from the buffet dinner.

Before we end, would just like to share our experience of the ‘new normal’ when dining at a buffet with our beloved readers.

  1. Under the current restrictions, each table can host a maximum of 4 person (upon special request, the team can arrange for a maximum of 6 to be seated together).

  2. Instead of walking up to the stations, diners are required to place orders. As such, it is advised to order in bigger portions instead of multiple orders of single portion to avoid potential waiting time between each serving.

  3. Lastly, if walking around the buffet area, do ensure to have your mask on and sanitise your hands regularly.
