We’ve got great news! Gobo Chit Chat by Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur is back in operation just in time for the joyous Christmas Season and a brand-New Year.
From now till 19th December 2020, you’ll have the chance to indulge in a Festive Seafood Experience for only RM158 nett per person (Read till the end to learn how you can enjoy additional discounts). Enjoy a wide selection of seafood ranging from freshly shucked oysters, clams, green lip mussels to flower crabs and even baby lobsters.
In line with the CMCO SOPs, an attendant will be present at each buffet station to assist you with the orders. Simply let them know how many pieces of a particular seafood you’d like and they’ll have it prepared and sent to your table accordingly.
The seafood can be prepared in 3 different styles: Garlic Thai Coriander, Sichuan Sauce or Pineapple Melaka Sauce. Our personal favourite is the Garlic Thai Coriander. The slight kick in spiciness, citrusy and garlic flavours goes perfectly with our seafood. While the other 2 sauces were great, they were a little too sweet for our liking.
A little tip from us. You can request them to simply boil the seafood and have the sauces served on the side as seen in the picture above. That way, you won’t lose too much of the natural juices and sweetness in your favourite seafood. Either way, feel free to have fun and treat yourself to a well-deserved ‘shell out’ session.
And of course, if you’d like to enjoy the most amount of meat for the least amount of work, we definitely suggest sticking to Fresh Oysters, Green Lip Mussels and Baby Lobsters for maximum enjoyment!
The Christmas season would not be complete without some juicy turkey paired with cranberry sauce. With that said, Gobo Chit Chat also have you covered with a selection of turkey paired with either cranberry or brown sauce as well as beef briskets paired with black pepper sauce.
Aside from the main seafood, turkey and beef brisket highlights, there is plenty more for everyone to explore. You’ll find a variety of other Western, Japanese and Malaysian cuisines here. And to top it all off, there’s also a dessert section where they serve freshly made durian crepes.
